Wish I had taken a shot of the old Playboy Club in Century City, Los Angeles.

"Closed Sunday's"

Big fancy sign, too.

I knew the language was doomed some 15-odd years ago when a national HBO commercial had the question (for about six to eight weeks):

Do they know its Saturday Night?

It's bad enough when Joe Schmoe makes the error constantly, but you think about that one -- the number of Language Professionals -- copywriters, editors, graphic artists, and so forth -- who had to see that, sign off on it, and never catch it all through the commercial production process.

Unless of course the grammatical error was the absence of the verb: "Yes, it is [my] work's".

On January 03, 2012 at 0729 GMT, the Business page of CNN International boldy proclaimed; "LG unveil's super-thin TV".

I have a screen grab because about an hour later, it was amended.

I guess someone was given a quick primer in English "grammer".
