You don't have to include that. They do perfectly well on their garden variety crime - usually topping the list for violent crimes and murder rate. I'm not sure why D.C. didn't make Forbes' top ten.

I wonder what the costs of incarceration is for the most dangerous cities.

once would presume that high crime results in a high incarceration rate... which in theory translates into high costs.... that someone has to pay.
