Prospects for Future Econ. Growth Remain Positive

Leading economic indexes for January increased in France (0.9%), Germany (0.4%) and Australia (0.1%), according to releases from the Conference Board over the last week.  These increases in leading economic indexes follow recent reports of increases in the leading indexes of Spain, U.K., China, Korea, Japan and U.S.

Come now Mark. The EU is falling apart. The Middle East is in turmoil. Oil is rising as people figure out that Hubbert's Peak is behind us and that there will be no supply side solutions to disruptions in a tight market. The real economy in the US is shrinking. Inflation is running at rates that used to cause panic when I was a kid.

Yet you still persist in ignoring reality.

Hubbert's Peak? Ha-ha. You must be a newbie to the energy world.

BTW, just for fun, look at Freddy Hutter's site. I am not saying he is right, but he is projecting Peak Demand before Peak Oil. There is some sense to that.

At $100 a barrel, demand for oil will go flat, then slowly decline in the years ahead. Most likely we get a honking glut at some point, and yet another price collapse.

We seem to have global epic supplies for natural gas for generations. Methanex makes methanol from natural gas and sells it today for $1.28 a gallon.

Lithium batteries are improving at an annual 8 percent rate. No assurance that will continue. If it does, battery vehicles make a lot of sense in just 10 years. Costs have been coming down too.

Even solar power, of which so far I am not a fan, may make sense in 10 years, if solar panels keep improving. I like nukes, despite recent bad news. Barring either of those, natural gas power pants are cheap and work fine.

Doomsterism in the energy world is a fool's parlor game.

I see a cleaner and more-prosperous future ahead. The Bush Administration sapped this nation's confidence, and evidently yours as well. But not every eight years is going to have a Bush.

Increasing can be arise in some the events and main event specially by doing some special sort of work and efforts as you also told that the increases in leading economic indexes follow recent reports of increases in the leading indexes,so this is probably right and true and this fact have the originality.
