It's Not Just Gasoline That's Dirt-Cheap in the U.S.

American households can buy natural gas at prices that are among the lowest in the world, see chart above (date from EIA available here, p. 43). See related post below on electricity prices.

Is the difference in cost simply tax?

If not why are folks not buying in Finland and selling in Denmark?

If it is tax than it tells us more about what the governments are taxing than about the real costs.

The Euros tax the crap out of everything. That's part of what it means to be a Euro.

All those "free" services have to be paid for somehow.
